The property is reached by a small lane and is set in an elevated position with panoramic views of The Langhe countryside. The back of the property features an internal private courtyard which provides an additional outside living area. The historic town of Cortemilia can be reached within 15 minutes.
History
The house originally consisted of two separate rustic buildings which were merged together by the creation of a new part in the middle. The restoration process which took place between 1992-1996, was carried out to the highest standards and using local Langhe stone - This is clearly demonstrated by the photographs below.
The property
The property is bright, spacious and is built over two floors. Features include, exposed stone walls, exposed wooden ceilings and a wood burning stove especially built for the owner. There is an under floor gas central heating system supplemented by wood burning stoves.
Ground Floor - This consists of a high specification kitchen with fireplace, an office ( or additional bedroom), WC, store room, utility room, lounge and covered terrace area. The garage can be accessed via this floor.
The covered terrace area can be reached via the lounge. All the windows slide open to provide an excellent outside living area in the summer.
