San Domenico
The ski resort "San Domenico di Varzo" is a resort of great natural beauty surrounded by mountains, woods and lakes. San Domenico is a small quiet alpine village (altitude 1420 metres) near to Varzo in the Ossola Valley. The resort is situated in the Lepontine Alps chain (Simplon pass area). San Domenico is the starting point for Alpe Ciamporino's ski runs and lifts in winter and the Alpe Veglia natural park in summer.
