Before your purchase.
Our aim is to find the right property for you and only show you those properties that fit your buying criteria and will be of genuine interest to you. We will discuss your exact requirements, answer all your questions and are pleased to offer our advice. If your are not sure what you want we will show you a selection of properties to help fine tune your decision making process.
When you have found the property you like we will make sure that all your technical questions are answered and we will check to ensure any modifications or change of use you wish to make are allowed before you make any commitment to purchase. If you are relocating with children we can advise on local schooling. When you are ready to buy we will guide you through the entire buying process and deal with all the necessary paper work. - Please see our How to Buy section.
After your purchase.
We will make sure that all the utilities are changed into your name and offer any advice you may need. We have a comprehensive network of workers and suppliers and therefore can help you with kitchens, bathrooms, plumbers, electricians, builders and a Geometra etc.
We can provide you with information on the area, costs of living, regional grants available and the potential for business opportunities including bed and breakfast and agriturismo.
If you intend to run a business here in Italy you will need the equivalent of a VAT number (IVA number) and an accountant. We are happy to introduce you to an English speaking accountant.

We work with leading estate agents in Alba who together have over 30 years experience of real estate in Piemonte. Our team includes an accredited translator, a surveyor, solicitors and English mother tongue staff who will accompany you on all viewings.
Our team work full time constantly sourcing new homes suitable for the foreign market and as such it is an impossible task to place every new property on the website immediately. We personally visit every property and compile all the necessary information which allows you to make an informed decision on your investment, therefore when you contact us we really have firsthand knowledge of the property in question and not just a collection of photographs.

Piedmont Property is a family run business incorporating John, Maria Rosa, Clive and Lesley Wisbey. We are a professional business registered and based in Alba, Piemonte, Italy.
Maria Rosa is Italian, born in Piemonte and is a language graduate with 30 years experience in financial control of our family engineering business in the UK (www.nicltd.co.uk). She also has vast experience in translating for UK public services such as the Police Force, Customs and Excise, Magistrate Courts, County Courts and High Courts.
Between us, with our wealth of experience we can help any prospective client through the maze of Italian bureaucracy from the initial contact to the final allocation of a postal code. We can also find excellent truffles at the right time of the year and get them DHL'd to England!
